Rear extension and knock through to create a kitchen diner
Kitchen diner / Family room
After exhausting many options to update the space within a 1930’s semi, we created a large kitchen diner combining the kitchen with the rear reception room. The property already had a small extension to the kitchen so we extended the reception room to match and knocked through creating a large open space. We introduced bi-fold doors to create an open living space to include the outside deck.Additionally we created a utility room within the kitchen space and a hall closet to create more storage.
Both John and Tom did a great job for us with helpful suggestions as the project developed. Building beyond are trustworthy, reliable and don’t forget the importance of a good laugh!. Thanks to them we now have a great kitchen diner / family room. Cheers.
